Sub Walkthrough

First, we build the "sub" options in Modifier Setup.

A Modifier Group is a category (like Top Shelf Liquor or Burger Adds). A Modifier is a single choice (like Top Shelf Vodka +3.00 or Add Bacon +1.00).

Example A - Create a Top Shelf Liquor group

  Add a new group.
  On the right side, press Add. Type the group name Top Shelf Liquor and press OK.

  Add the first choice.
  Click the first empty row (Row 1), then press Edit. Enter Top Shelf Vodka as the name.

  Put the upcharge in the price box, for example 3.00 for a 3.00 upcharge.

  Add more top shelf options.
  Repeat on the next rows:

  Top Shelf Whiskey - 3.00
  Top Shelf Tequila - 4.00
  (and any others you need)

  Save the group.
  When you are done adding choices, press Accept to save the group.

Example B - Create Burger Adds (paid condiments)

  Create the Burger Adds group.
  In Modifier Setup, press Add. Name the group Burger Adds or Condiment Adds. Press OK.

  Add the condiments you want to charge for.
  Use one row per item:

  Add Bacon - 1.00
  Add Cheese - 0.50
  Extra Sauce - 0.25
  Extra Patty - 2.00

  Save.
  When you are done, press Accept, then Exit to leave Modifier Setup.

Now we hook those modifier groups to the actual items on the screen.

Attach Top Shelf Liquor to a drink

  Pick the drink.
  Find the drink (for example Vodka Soda) and press Edit.

  Check where it prints.
  On the left, make sure the Print Receipt is set correctly (for example Bar).

  Attach the Top Shelf Liquor group.
  On the right, look for Modifier Group.

  1. Click row 1 under Modifier Group and press Edit.
  2. Choose Top Shelf Liquor from the list.
  3. Press Accept.

  Save the drink.
  Press Accept, then Exit.

  Now, when you ring in that drink, a popup will ask for the top shelf choice and add the upcharge automatically.

Attach Burger Adds to burgers

  Pick the burger.
  In Product Setup, select the burger (for example Cheeseburger) and press Edit.

  Set where it prints.
  On the left, make sure it prints to the kitchen (for example Kitchen printer).

  Attach your groups in order.
  For example:

  Row 1 - Temps (Rare, Medium, Well) Row 2 - Burger Adds (paid condiments)

  Row 3 - Burger Nos (No Onion, No Tomato, etc.)

  For each row: click it, press Edit, choose the group name, then press Accept.

  Save the burger.
  Press Accept, then Exit.

  Now ringing in a burger will show temps, then Burger Adds (paid items like bacon), then any "no" choices.
